Founded in 1946 by Wilfred Albert Forsey, our family-run firm is now led by Adrian Forsey and his son Sam—the fourth generation of the Forsey family to drive the business forward towards our 80th year. With every generation, we have remained true to the values of compassion, community and professionalism, while always looking ahead to desired progression requested by families.
Our latest investment reflects that dual focus. Supplied by Coleman Milne, our new fleet includes three Mercedes-Benz E-Class 214 AMG Line hybrid hearses and two matching limousines—a significant upgrade in both style and sustainability.
Each vehicle is finished in a timeless Tenorite Grey with a Gold Twinpin Coachline, combining elegant tradition with contemporary refinement. The hearses are equipped with full-length glass roofs, enhancing natural light and visibility, while bespoke features such as traditional shaped hearse styling and Tonka-brown leather interiors emphasise the quality, comfort and presentation we are known for.
Environmentally Responsible, Locally Focused
These vehicles feature modern Mercedes hybrid engines, helping reduce fuel consumption and environmental impact—something we know matters to many of the families we serve. We believe we were the first in the county to make this shift to a comprehensive all-hybrid funeral day ceremonial fleet and proud to be leading the way for greener funeral provision in Somerset.
This move also marks a transition from our previous Ford Norwood and Rosedale hybrid models, further demonstrating our commitment to efficiency and innovation while retaining the dignified standards that define our service.
